WEDNESDAYS

Today I am going to be posting my first video podcast for this series. It will go over some of the food and drink specials around town for Wednesdays. I tried to shoot different types of video and get pictures from websites but soon ran out of ideas. I feel like the audio part of this podcast went really well. I am not completely satisfied with the video part mostly because I do not know if there is a whole lot to shoot when I am discussing specials at several locations. I just wanted to make sure that I did not have any gaps without video so some of the shots are a little long. I did not have any problems putting it together but I do feel like I was limited. I had ideas of what I wanted to do but I soon figured out that imovie did not have some of those capabilities. Overall I am happy with it and you should make sure to watch it to the end because I stuck a short video in there that is pretty humorous.

I really liked this video podcast. I never would have thought of some of those places to go eat. You have a wide range of food and drink places so thats good.

your podcast made me hungryyy. haha but in reference to your blog about wanting ideas for what to get video of, I think it'd be cool if you had video of one of the bartenders or waiters/waitresses serving someone. Like if you are talking about a special on a certain type of drink, maybe show the bartender making it or mixing it. Other than that, I loved the video at the end of the guy dancing. hottt.haha

Nice video podcast man! I liked that you showed the actual restaurants or bars mentioned throughout the podcast. The shot of campus in the intro was a good way to start off your podcast. Good job once again & i look forward to hearing more about the daily food and drink specials in the future.

Dude, that was freaking hilarious!! Who is that guy at the end? Great video footage, I liked the live footage of the places as I heard about their specials. Good info too. I'll definitely check these places out now. I had slight problems loading the podcast...It wouldn't load on the web page and I had to download the file and play it on my computer. Seems like you could use that footage of campus for all your podcasts, like stock footage. Great job man and nice podcast. Seems fun if you get to see things like that while you work!haha.

I really liked the shot of the streets signs you used for Gilbert’s, you might think of adding that or other direction guide to all the places you review. The transition music played when you moved on to drinks was a nice touch, as was the ping-pong sound effects. The blog address you played was a bit quick, you might want to add some length to that.

Short and informative. First restaurant was a little to descriptive thought. Video wasn't to bad and the shots were god. Also nice transition in the middle.

LOL! I really liked the video podcast. Great job. I also had the same problem as far as filling in space with photos and video. It was very informative, once again, and I agree with Kristen when she suggested filming some of the bartenders as they make drinks. Just be sure to ask, I know I've filmed at different places before and some people are very picky!

good video man! you had everything in sync and that is a big plus. I like this podcast a lot because of it's useful information. To comment your blog, I think footage of people gathered at a table or different drinks being handed out would make some good footage. Footage of the actual food will help when people are making decisions on where to go eat. I know I usually decide what I want to eat after I see a waiter walk by.
